COMMUNITY NEIGHBOUR EVENT 2017

The event was a great success , enjoyed by all who attended

                    Sponsors kindly donated $400 which brought the  total raised to $1306.50

Clean up Australia Day …2017

11 volunteers cleaned up all boat ramps, beach , lake and bay car parks and the track down to Back Beach.A dozen bags  of rubbish collected; mainly bottles, cans, cigarette butts and plastic.

Date has been set for Saturday 1st April 2017. Events will include cake baking/decorating, jumping castle, face painting, music and more to be planned.

WHO IS THE BEST BAKER IN TOWN ?

CAKE BAKING COMPETITION
When : Saturday 1st April ,2017
Where : Yulunga Community Hall , Manyana

To be judged :

                      * Pre school/ Infants- best iced arrowroot biscuits-set of 6

                      * Primary school – best iced cake
( only icing decoration judged ; not the cake )

                     * High School – best cake + iced presentation

                     * Open – best cake + iced presentation

 Cash Vouchers at Bendalong Cafe for each section

Cakes to be donated and sold whole or in slices after the judging.
The 2 prize winning cakes in High School and Open division will be auctioned by a professional auctioneer
All proceeds will be donated to the Manyana – Bendalong Community Pathway project being built by local volunteer labour
Rules of the competition
* No cake mixes in High School and Open divisions.

These entries are to be accompanied by a list of ingredients

* Entries are to be delivered to the kitchen door of
the Yulunga Community Hall between 4 – 5pm on the day
